Just wanted to share with you. I witnessed stu/who? on his bike today. I met him at Parliament sq today cycling into work.
He does exist, he does cycle.

Gentlemen, another date for the diary. Sunday 3rd May for 67 miles of hills, and well, hills. Its a cracking ride, though as Seanus, Biggus, Peleton and I can testify, its not for the faint hearted. That said the beer and fish finger sandwiches in Yarmouth were superb.

Anyone interested let me know in due course as we will need to organise ferries etc. Further info can be found at http://www.cycleisland.co.uk/

Cheers

Hello team. Treve has brought to my attention this Evans ride on Sun 8th Feb – nice 70 miler to kick off training proper. Hopefully won’t be quite as frosty by then, but then we have done 100 in horizontal rain so who cares if it is?

Hope you can all make it teamsters.

A challenge from Peleton

December 22, 2008

The Dragon Ride is taking place the weekend before we head off to Edinburgh, and Bob has signed up, and wants to know if any of the RIPCOR boys will be joining him.

Check it out at http://www.dragonride.co.uk/index.php I have and the climbs look hideous! So good excuses as to why we can’t/shouldn’t do it to me please, otherwise we might have to sign up.

Thoughts Gentlemen…

Ripcor Site

December 15, 2008

Chaps,

Check out www.ripcor.co.uk
The new site has a holding page. JP, who works for Treve is sorting out the  website this week which i put together over the weekend. I need however a quote from you each about the team, the ride this year, next years ride, the pace centre or what ever. Around 150 words would be great. If you can email them to Treve that would be great. cheers seanus.

Decisions decisions

Chaps, have another butchers at these new logos. The type used is the one we got our typographer friend to have a look at. North cleverly tweaked the logo into last years and then Treve pulled that back apart again to create the flag logo. I love them all. But again we are a team and need to hear everyone’s thoughts…
Stu, Biggus. where are you?

This looks great to me – happy to wear this on my bike, round the house and even up the pub. I like all the new logos and font styles. Then again my mum still buys my clothes and cuts my hair so I will be taking a back seat on the style tandem and leave it to you graphic design pros…. As far as I’m concerned ‘they’re all good…’

Sorry I can’t make a ride this Sunday, unfortunately I have to be in Paris eating croissants and all that…

Ripcor Shirt 09?

December 4, 2008

ripcor091

Chaps this is one of the logos on a shirt design ( i just picked one at random). we all like the world champ esq lines. this shirt design will have rainbow lines missing on the right hand half which is where the logo for whoever will be placed. Treve is tapping a client up for their logo to go in there for the grand sum of £2000. If they say no then we all need to try and find someone else for this slot. The rainbow colours and the grey background colour were done for this client of Treve’s and are of course like all the logo designs, up for grabs. Again thoughts please

New Ripcor Logo Development

December 4, 2008

Chaps, here is some development of the ripcor logo. Top is where we started and the bottom, hand script fonts were done by a typographer in order to create something camapag/ rapha esq. We need to get something decided soonish if possible so all thoughts to be posted in the comments thingy below this post. stu, chris, you need to register to do this.

Just thought you all should know John Hagues signed up for the ride this weekend. The Pace Team is slowly coming back together.
